Developer Ember Lab announced that Kena: Scars of Kosmora, the PS5 sequel to Kena: Bridge of Spirits, has been delayed from this year to 2027. The studio said it needs more time to polish the expanded experience and exceed the quality of the 2021 original. The game has so far been confirmed only for PS5 and PC.

The studio said it remains a character-focused linear adventure but with a broader and deeper scope than 2021's Bridge of Spirits, with the island of Kosmora's living cultures and a crystalline canine companion that serves as a mount and aids in combat and Alchemystic puzzles.
