Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Officially Adds a New Way to Lose the Game

The Magic: The Gathering Star Trek Universes Beyond set will introduce a new way to lose next month, based on one of James T. Kirk's most famous stories. Most games of Magic end when a player hits zero life, though some players build decks around alternate win conditions like emptying an opponent's deck, poison counters, or cards such as Simic Ascendancy and Doctor Doom, Unrivaled.
