Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Updated to Version 4.0.1, Full Patch Notes Revealed

Nintendo has released version 4.0.1 for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Switch, a smaller update focused on multiple fixes. It addresses issues including an increased number of obstacles or Item Boxes during Online Play and Wireless Play on Nintendo Switch 2, the inability to select a registered user in two-player Online and Wireless Play, some Star Bits not displaying on Wii Rainbow Road on Nintendo Switch 2, and the game closing unexpectedly under certain conditions. The previous September update added Switch 2 display support and 5-8 player support.
