Call of Duty Esports Commentator Resigns After Pursuing Relationship With Co-Commentator's Ex-Wife

Call of Duty League commentator Clint "Maven" Evans has announced he is stepping away from the CDL for the "foreseeable future" after pursuing a romantic relationship with the ex-wife of his co-commentator, Joseph "MerK" DeLuca. Evans called the situation "unconventional/taboo" and said he hopes to return to the CDL one day, though he acknowledged it may not happen. DeLuca has not commented and has not posted on X since October 4.
