Rumor: Sonic Mania Developer May Be Working on a New Ape Escape Game

Jeff Gerstmann and VGC have both heard that Evening Star, the studio behind Sonic Mania, may be working on a new Ape Escape game, which would be the series' first entry in over 15 years since 2011's PlayStation Move Ape Escape. VGC also says Sony is looking to revive other licenses it owns, including Killzone. Gerstmann first heard the Evening Star rumor about eight months ago and remains non-committal on whether it's still in development.
