DIY Controller in Six Hours for Under $12: Is the Undercooked V0.4 Worth Using?

You can make this DIY controller in six hours and for less than 12 bucks—but would you want to?

Brief

Creator Lazy_Duck has shown off the Undercooked V0.4, a DIY controller build that takes about six hours and costs €10 (roughly $11.22). It has just one analogue stick, X and A inputs, a menu button and a B button moved to the right shoulder, with no D-pad or full set of face buttons, and uses a protoboard with an RP2040-Zero microcontroller instead of a full PCB. The shell is made from 150 g of 3D printed filament and joined with heat-set threaded inserts.
