A "Raincoat Pikachu" Pokémon TCG card sold at auction on Fanatics Collect for $8.4 million, the second-highest price ever paid for a PTCG card. The card was created in 2015 through a Pokémon Art Academy competition on 3DS, with only 100 copies privately printed, yet PSA lists 57 of them in PSA 10 condition. The same card sold for $156,250 at Heritage Auctions in June this year, making the jump hard to explain.
