Rust's October update adds cows, sheep and milk, and devs warn that 'cream is a more powerful consumable'

That's some fiiiiine lookin' milk, but Rust devs warn that 'cream is a more powerful consumable'

Brief

Facepunch Studios' October update for Rust adds livestock including cows and sheep, which produce dung, meat, bones, leather, milk and wool, along with an economy built around them. Players can haggle with a new Stable vendor to sell animals and wool, drink milk, or refrigerate it for four hours and skim it into skimmed milk and cream, which the update calls "a more powerful consumable." The update also adds squirrels, rabbits, frogs, turtles and other critters, and lets raw and spoiled meat fuel a biofuel generator.
