How to start the Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen expansion

To start the Dark Arisen expansion in Dragon's Dogma 2, speak to Captain Brant in The Stardrop Inn in Vernworth at nighttime. Two new dialogue options open the Chilling Tidings quest leading to the new region of Norgan and the Lost Rites quest for 12 new endgame dungeons, with level 40 recommended. If you have reached the Unmoored World, you cannot access the DLC until New Game+, though the Change save slot option lets you start a new playthrough from your save.
