Mike Flanagan Explains Why Warhammer 40,000 Is a 'Brutally Difficult Adaptation'

Mike Flanagan called adapting Warhammer 40,000 into an Amazon TV series "brutally difficult," noting the universe has 700 novels compared to eight for The Dark Tower. He said the challenge is finding an entry point given the many characters and thousands of years of history. The show will be part of Henry Cavill's Warhammer 40,000 Cinematic Universe, with Cavill set to star.
