The Street Fighter Movie's Most Obscure Easter Egg Is for True Fighting Game Nerds

In the Street Fighter movie, fighting game legend Justin Wong's prisoner cameo hides a "37" tattoo on his neck, a nod to Evo Moment 37. That 2004 moment saw Wong, playing a low-health Chun-Li, parry over a dozen of Daigo Umehara's Ken attacks before countering. The film also leans into Capcom's game look with its costumes, special attacks, and a new version of Guile's theme by composers Leo Birenberg and Zach Robinson.
