Fireshine Games acquires Necesse developer Fair Games

Fireshine Games has acquired Danish indie studio Fair Games and its open world sandbox title Necesse. Fair Games founder and CEO Mads Skovgaard stays on as managing director and the studio keeps leading the game's direction and updates, while Fireshine handles publishing and porting. Necesse first launched in 2019 and has drawn an estimated 2.5 million players, with plans for continued PC support and additional platform ports.
