Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Multiplayer and DMZ Require a BIOS Update for TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot
Don't get hit with the BIOS update hammer for COD MW4 like my colleagues - here's how to ensure you can play multiplayer and DMZ
Brief
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches on PC this Friday, and Activision requires TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot for all online modes including multiplayer and DMZ. Intel PTT versions 302.1.2.X or 303.1.2.X and AMD fTPM 3.X.0.X are incompatible and need a BIOS update, which can be checked via tpm.msc. Two PC Gamer colleagues on an Intel Core i5 12400KF and an AMD Ryzen 5 5800X hit the issue because their BIOS versions were years old.
