Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director says Platinum trophy will be "easier to get"

Final Fantasy 7 Revelation director Naoki Hamaguchi says the game's Platinum trophy will be "easier to get" than Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth's, with around 20 percent of players or more expected to obtain it. He acknowledged Rebirth's Platinum difficulty was "by design," with about 2.6 percent of players unlocking it, and said the team underestimated demand and he has regrets. Revelation is due out on 8th April 2027 on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series.
