Terminally Ill GTA 6 Fan Dies 3 Weeks Before Game's Launch, Fans Pay Their Respects

A terminally ill GTA 6 fan known online as Void Only, named Jerry, has died three weeks before the game's launch, his sister confirmed on his social accounts. Jerry had been hospitalized with an interstitial lung disease and said he just wanted to play GTA 6; supporters raised $50,000 in days for his transplant, which he received in September before complications caused him to lose function of his body. Fans mourned in the comments, with one saying they would add Void to their gamertag in his honor when GTA releases.
