Austrian Two-Person Indie Team Reveals Top-Down Soulslike Extraction Game Usurpator

Austrian indie developers Martin and Sebastian have been working on Usurpator, a top-down Soulslike PvPvE extraction game, since 2014, and it is now in a free public playtest on Steam. The game focuses on skill-based melee combat with timing, positioning, parrying, dodging and combos, plus co-op, player encounters during extraction runs, 1v1 Arenas and 8-player Battlegrounds. The developers say they want honest criticism, especially about what feels frustrating or unfun.
