FURIA steps away from Valorant after five years

FURIA announced it will step away from Valorant after five years in the title. The decision came weeks after Riot did not select the org as a partnered team for VCT's next partnership cycle. Its 2026 roster went undefeated in Americas Kickoff to reach a first international event in the partnership era, but after two mid-season rebuilds it went 0-2 in the playoffs and missed Champions, leaving every member of the end-of-year roster a free agent.
