Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's Campaign Opens Today for Preorder Players

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4's campaign opens on October 16 for players who preorder, with preloading available and an unlock time of 10 AM PT across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. Developer Infinity Ward asked players not to spoil the story. Activision's Tyler Bahl called the game the conclusion of the recent Modern Warfare series and confirmed a new Call of Duty sub-franchise is in the works. The full launch is October 23, the new DMZ opens October 20 for preorder players, and multiplayer arrives on October 23.
