New Xbox Elite controller appears in Xbox Design Lab backend: Hall-effect/TMR sticks, advanced haptics, audio scroll wheel and new paddle designs

Configuration records and 16 3D component models for a new Xbox Elite controller, codenamed Edessa and linked to an accessory product called Beatrice, have appeared in the Xbox Design Lab backend. The listings point to Hall-effect and TMR stick module options, "Impulse Triggers (ERMs) & Advanced Haptics (VCAs) Motors," a dedicated audio scroll wheel color setting, and standard, classic and doublewide paddle designs. Beatrice has 27 mapped topper/paddle configurations, and the Elite Complete SKU package adds a case and charging dock.
