Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire Switch Port Rumours Resurface After Pokémon HOME Update

Pokémon HOME's latest update, Version 4.1.0, adds a "GBA games" icon to the main menu alongside FireRed & LeafGreen connectivity, letting players link those digital versions and trade Pokémon to HOME. The section's name has convinced many fans that Pokémon Ruby & Sapphire will return, though no official announcement has been made. An earlier datamine of the FireRed and LeafGreen Switch emulator reportedly revealed support for Sapphire, Ruby and Emerald ROMs, and The Pokémon Company has said Pokémon Bank will end on 27th February 2027.
