Stardew Valley's 1.7 Update Gets a Release Window, With Barone Calling It the Game's Largest Update Ever

Stardew Valley creator Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone said at the finale of the game's soundtrack tour at Colorado's Red Rocks that the team is working on the 1.7 Update, which is looking to be the largest Stardew Valley update ever and is likely to come out in 2027. He also confirmed that Clint and Sandy will become eligible for marriage, calling them just the tip of the iceberg. Much of the update remains under wraps, with possible additions including improvements to the game's children, a new farm map, a farm map editor, and social features for sharing map designs.
