Meshy Launches Meshy Edit: New In-House AI Model Enables One-Sentence Local 3D Model Editing

AI 3D company Meshy has released Meshy Edit, a local editing feature that lets users select a region on a 3D model and describe the change in one sentence, generating a new model in about one minute while untouched areas stay unchanged. The feature is open to all registered users at 20 credits per edit and currently supports high-precision models generated by Meshy 6 and Meshy 7.1. Meshy was founded by MIT PhD Ethan Hu and had over 15 million registered users worldwide as of September 2026.
