Fortune report projects next Xbox Helix console at $1,200 to $1,800

A Fortune report projects the next Xbox Helix console will cost consumers between $1,200 and $1,800 unless Microsoft decides to subsidize it. The report also says Xbox plans a major Game Pass overhaul with pick-and-choose options, a next-gen Xbox handheld by holiday 2027 and Project Helix by holiday 2028. Further Xbox layoffs are expected this month, in November and in January, subject to change.
