Resident Evil Requiem Producer "Explains" the Game's Title, Confusing Us More

Resident Evil producer Jun Takeuchi said in the Biohazard 30th Anniversary Special that the spelling of Requiem (REQUIEM) contains not only "RE (response)" but also a "Q (question)," so the title presents both an answer and a question, with the meaning to be explained later. He added that the remake series and numbered titles have been building toward a crossover since Resident Evil Village, though he did not say what form it will take or when it will arrive. The only officially confirmed Resident Evil game in development is Resident Evil Veronica, a remake of Resident Evil – Code: Veronica, which has no release date.
