Report: New PS5 Slim revision swaps components, adds replaceable CMOS battery and revised cooling

Sony has reportedly quietly revised the PS5 Slim, with the latest models featuring new and rearranged components. Console technician Modyfikator89 opened the new Limited Edition Wolverine PS5 Slim and found the EDM-051 motherboard has a different layout, the CR2032 CMOS battery is now easily replaceable, and the cooling system has been entirely revised with a liquid metal interface closer to that of the PS5 Pro. The changes are said to have a negligible effect on the actual game playing experience.
