Phantom Blade Zero Hits 448,000 Peak Players on Steam, Behind Only Counter-Strike 2

Hours after launch, Phantom Blade Zero reached a peak concurrent player count of 448,000 on Steam, second only to Counter-Strike 2 on Valve's platform, and topped the Steam revenue chart ahead of Modern Warfare 4. The game is also out on PS5, where Sony does not publish player numbers, so the total peak is higher. Creative director Soulframe Liang's letter traced the project back to his student RPG Maker game Rainblood: Town of Death.
