Official Pokémon Account Shares Suspiciously HD Ruby and Sapphire Footage, Fueling Switch Port Rumors

An official Pokémon social media account posted a 30-second clip of Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire running in high resolution, prompting fans to speculate that Switch ports are coming. The clip's length matches the Switch and Switch 2's automatic 30-second gameplay capture, and official channels normally don't use emulated versions of older Pokémon games in promotional clips. Dataminers previously found that this year's Switch ports of Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen seemingly included ROM support for all third-gen mainline games, including Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald.
