Star Fox Version 1.2.0 Update Now Available, Adds Four-Player Split-Screen on Switch 2

Nintendo and Velan Studios have released the version 1.2.0 update for Star Fox (2026), adding three new Battle Mode stages—Katina, Sector X, and Venom—plus split-screen support for up to four players on a single Switch 2, with a controller required for each player. The update also fixes numerous crashes and scoring issues across Campaign, Challenge, and Battle modes, and addresses third-party USB cameras not working within the game.
