Xbox Nano Controller Announced: Smaller, Cheaper, and No AA Batteries
There’s A New Xbox Controller That’s Cheaper, Smaller, And Doesn’t Use AA Batteries
Brief
Microsoft has announced the Xbox Nano controller, which is nearly half the size of a standard Xbox controller and $15 cheaper at $50, launching in early November. It is just over 5 inches long, weighs 3.5 ounces, keeps all 18 standard gameplay inputs, and uses a built-in rechargeable battery instead of AA batteries. Microsoft is also temporarily bundling a two-month Game Pass Ultimate subscription for new members with the purchase of a new Samsung TV or Oculus headset, and the Nano currently appears to come only in white.
