Phasmophobia passes 30 million sales as Crimson Eye Halloween event returns

Phasmophobia confirms 30 million sales as its Crimson Eye Halloween event returns

Brief

Kinetic Games announced that Phasmophobia has sold more than 30 million copies across PC and console since launching in Early Access in 2020. Its annual Crimson Eye Halloween event is back and runs until 1st November, bringing blood moon weather to a rotating set of maps that makes ghosts faster and drains sanity more quickly while paying out more. Community goals unlock the Beholder ID Card and Badge and the Blood Moon Trophy, while personal goals unlock the Blood Moon Charm, a seasonal t-shirt, and Crimson Eye trophy upgrades. CEO and game director Daniel Knight said his initial goal was to sell 1000 units in the first year, and that the 1.0 release is slated for the second half of 2027.
