Footage from a reportedly cancelled Assassin’s Creed game set in China has leaked
Footage has appeared online claiming to show a cancelled mainline Assassin's Creed project set in ancient China, with the working title Assassin's Creed Destiny. According to MP1st, the footage comes from developer portfolios and the project was led by Tencent subsidiary TiMi Studio Group, set during the Qin Dynasty in 206 BCE, showing a female assassin, a boss fight tied to Xiang Yu's troops, stealth kills and the leap of faith. The report says it was intended for consoles and PC and was likely cancelled after Tencent pivoted away from Western franchises in 2024, while Ubisoft says the mobile game Assassin's Creed Jade remains in development.
