Critical Role's Hololive Series Gave Matt Mercer 'Deeper Understanding and Appreciation' for Vtubers

Critical Role and Hololive have collaborated on Shattered Legends, a tabletop roleplaying series that Matt Mercer says gave him a "deeper understanding and appreciation for the skill and talent" of the vtubers involved. The project originated as a pitch from Hololive's Nerissa Ravencroft, who appears alongside Mori Calliope, Gigi Murin, and Shiori Novella, with Mercer and Marisha Ray playing using Critical Role's Daggerheart system. Inspired by Berserk and Soulsborne games, the six-episode series premieres on Ravencroft's YouTube channel in mid-November.
