Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen — How to damage Blackdog enemies, A Howl in the Dark quest guide

In Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, the new Blackdog enemy uses dark magick to negate all incoming damage, so players must break its shield with Holy magick. Blackdogs only appear at night and are first encountered in the A Howl in the Dark quest, where defeating one lets you retrieve the Fallen Pendant. A Mage's Anodyne, any Holy Grimoire, or the Empyrean spell will shatter the shield.
