Dinosaur immersive sim Athanasia enters early access today

Momentum Games and publisher Black Lantern Collective released Athanasia, a first-person homage to Dino Crisis and System Shock, casting players as researcher Carmen Flores in an abandoned South American research facility. The game launched in early access today, with the full release expected in 2027; the initial version covers three of six planned areas plus most enemy and item types. The developers said on Steam they may add areas, items or enemies depending on community feedback and development pace, but their focus is delivering what they promised.
