KRX releases three coaches and seven players after missing VCT partnership

Days after not being selected by Riot as a VCT partnered org, KRX announced the release of three coaches and seven players across its main team and DRX Academy. The departures include MaKo, who joined in July 2021 and helped the org reach 11 international events, as well as BeYN, free1ng and HYUNMIN. KRX said all parties mutually agreed to part ways ahead of VCT 2027 but stressed it is not exiting Valorant esports, while no statement was made on DRX Academy's future.
