EA Sports announces the return of its Fight Night boxing series

EA Sports confirmed in a Tuesday social media post that its long-dormant boxing series Fight Night is coming back, writing only that Fight Night is returning for everyone who stayed in its corner. The last entry was 2011's Fight Night Champion, after which EA shifted to EA Sports UFC and released five games between 2014 and 2026. The news comes close to the completion of EA's sale to Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund, which the piece notes has become a major force in staging high-profile boxing fights.
