Sekiro: No Defeat Anime Gets Crunchyroll Streaming Date, But It Won't Be a Movie

The Sekiro: No Defeat anime will come to Crunchyroll in January 2027, and it won't be the movie version shown in Japanese theaters. The 2-hour film will be re-edited and extended into an eight-episode TV series, with each episode running 24 minutes, adding roughly an hour of story. Producer Tetsushi Suzuki apologized for the confusion over the different versions, and the TV release will include new cuts and improved animation.
