Sony Is Bringing the Best Trend of '90s Console Design to PS5

Sony has revealed the Prism Collection, a new line of DualSense controllers and PS5 console covers made with transparent materials in Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray. Preorders open November 10 through PlayStation Direct ahead of a February 4, 2027 rollout, with controllers at $85 each and console covers at $75 each. Sony's design team said the look revives the see-through trend of the late '90s in a modern way that complements the PS5's industrial design.
