Psychological horror game JIAOHUN announced, coming to PC and PS5 in 2027

JIAOHUN, a cinematic first-person psychological horror game, was unveiled globally on October 8 at the 3i plan showcase and is expected to launch in 2027 on PC via Steam and PlayStation 5. Developed by Shanghai studio 12AM BLACKOUT using Unreal Engine 5, it is set in the Chinese town of Xiannü in Baishui County on the eve of the millennium and blends puzzle solving with walking simulation, switching between 4:3 and 2.39:1 aspect ratios. The game will be playable at the Beijing stop of the HJJ event on October 24 and 25, 2026, at booth B07-1.
