Darkest Dungeon 2 Dev Team Confirmed for WePlay, New DLC The Butcher's Asylum Teaser Revealed

Red Hook Studios confirmed its Darkest Dungeon 2 development team will appear at Shanghai's WePlay culture expo on November 21-22, 2026, where a special stage presentation will reveal the full trailer and extended gameplay for the upcoming DLC The Butcher's Asylum. It marks the team's second WePlay appearance, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of WePlay and the original Darkest Dungeon. The series also recently announced The Fire's Edge, the original game's fifth DLC, which launched on all platforms on August 18, and a canon comic series with Vault Comics.
