The BioShock movie at Netflix remains in development, director Francis Lawrence has confirmed, saying he is "definitely active" on the project but that it is "a tough nut to crack." He said creating the player character from scratch for that world is tricky, though "we're getting close." The film was scaled back after Netflix film chief Dan Lin came in, and Lawrence hopes the streamer's management shakeups won't affect it in a big way.
