Former volunteer threatens legal action against Skyblivion fan remake

A former volunteer is threatening legal action against Skyblivion, the fan remake of The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion built in Skyrim's engine, over code they contributed. The Skyblivion team said the dispute concerned continued use and maintenance of that work, and that the volunteer escalated to legal threats including demands for the real names and home addresses of its volunteer team leads. The team said it removed the code and rebuilt it from scratch, and that the former volunteer is "attempting to sue," though it is unclear whether a lawsuit has been filed.
