Shiyue's flagship anime-style game Wangyue has posted a "UE client lead programmer" job listing and changed its project description to "UE5 self-developed anime urban open-world ARPG," with pay of 100–200K and 16 months' salary. The game was still described as a Unity title in official statements and media reports last year, and its September recruitment still included a U3D client development role. The shift comes as the project, five years into development with a team of 600+, prepares for PC online testing in the fourth quarter.
