Castlevania: Belmont's Curse Demo Live, Launches October 15
The story so far
On September 30, 2026, GameSpot reported that Evil Empire's side-scrolling Metroidvania Castlevania: Belmont's Curse already offered a pre-order discount before early access, with vampire hunter Rose Belmont, who patrols the streets of Paris with her father Trevor and becomes entangled in a conspiracy, and whose defeated bosses' skills are sealed into her tarot cards for players to use against enemies. On October 1, Push Square reported that Konami had launched a demo on the PS Store, playable by PS5 users, slightly over 4 GB and essentially the opening of the full game, with progress carrying over to the full release; that report said the game is the series' first mainline entry in over a decade, set in 1499 Paris, with the full version launching October 15. On October 2, 机核 reported the demo launched that day on PS5, Nintendo Switch, XBOX Series X|S and Steam, letting players experience early content before the October 15 release and carry progress into the launch version.
