   Nightdive Is Reviving the Iconic Trapezoid Big Box for Thief: Remastered's Special Edition, But Only on Console

   Nightdive and Clear River Games have opened preorders for physical editions of Thief: Remastered, with a special edition recreating the original game's iconic trapezoid big box packaging. The trapezoid box is only available for Switch/Switch 2 and PS5, with no PC version offered. The game launches on December 3.

   Atari, Nightdive Studios, and Eidos-Montréal announced that Thief: The Dark Project Remastered will launch December 3 on PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Switch, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. The Standard Edition costs $29.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition $34.99, with PS5 and Switch 2 physical editions distributed by Clear River Games. Built on Nightdive's KEX Engine, the remaster includes the 12 original missions plus the three missions and five new enemy types from Thief: Gold, along with a weapon and item wheel, mission selector, and custom campaign support.
