触乐怪话：一台PS5液金偏移维修记

A PS5 that frequently overheated and shut down due to liquid metal migration was repaired for 146 yuan (120 yuan for repair, 26 yuan for delivery) after the author found player Void on Xianyu. Void said he is an ordinary player who learned repairs himself and now takes orders, with 65 of 118 reviews on his Xianyu account being buyer reviews and a 100% positive rating. The PS5 aggressively used liquid metal for cooling, which tends to migrate and dry out when the console stands vertically, becoming prone to problems after 3 to 5 years; Sony added groove patterns to the heatsink in the PS5 Pro and later Slim versions to limit liquid metal flow.
