   Pixar's latest 3D rendering tutorial credits Hesai's Kosmo scanning solution for capturing real-world 3D Gaussian splatting data for RenderMan. Kosmo One combines lidar, an 8K imaging system, a one-inch CMOS sensor and a high-precision IMU, capturing a roughly 100-square-meter space in about 15-20 minutes and outputting 3DGS, mesh and depth data.
