A report claims the Nintendo Switch 2 has been jailbroken for the first time, 16 months after launch, reportedly with the help of AI tools. The method requires running a specific backward-compatible Switch 1 game to use an earlier exploit and must be repeated every time the console starts, so it is far from a common route. The person behind it also named the e-store game used, which Nintendo could remove fairly easily, and Kotaku has asked Nintendo for comment.
