Developer Volta Verve has revealed Walk-Off 199X, a baseball roguelike deck builder with a demo of roughly 200 MB now available on Steam. The entirely turn-based game targets 40 to 60 minutes per run, and batters can see the odds of outcomes when a pitch is thrown before choosing to choke up, charge the mound, bunt, or sell out for a home run. Players can tailor their deck to specific pitchers before each game, and the card art draws on public domain sources with VHS and retro effects.
