World of Warcraft: Forever has introduced a new "Temporary Economy Hold" penalty for accounts suspected of real money trading, restricting their use of trade, mail, guild banks, and the Auction House. Blizzard says the system is new and may produce false positives, but a hold alone won't leave permanent strikes unless RMT is later proven. It's one of several measures Blizzard is experimenting with to tamp down inflation in the persistent game.
